Characterization

What are the important elements of Characterization?
Speech - The way they talk
Thoughts - What they are thinking and what they think of
Effect on others - How other characters are seen with the each other, what type of relationship they have
Actions - How they act shows their behavior
Looks - They way they look and the way they have a physical description.

Why is Characterization important?
Characterization is important because it tells the reader or shows the reader who they are and how that can react to different situations, it allows us to really know whats happening. It makes the story compelling and it tells us why certain events are happening. It creates realism to the story.
